Crafted by master artisans in India, this lightweight tie-dye silk scarf is resist dyed in the ancient Japanese art of Itajime Shibori.

Made from pure habotai silk this luxurious scarf has a buttery soft feel and floaty texture that adds drama to any outfit. A striking graphic print elevates your wardrobe whilst a generous length makes styling effortless.

Super soft, 100% habotai silk is gentle on the skin.

Hand finished edges, rectangular scarf.

Material & Care: 100% silk. Gentle hand wash separately in mild detergent and cold water. Do not soak. Drip dry in shade. Alternatively dry clean.

Size: Approx. 55 by 197 cm (22 by 77”). Handmade using AZO free dyes.

Any variations or irregularities are part of the design and not considered flaws in this very labour intensive process of crafting Shibori silk scarves.

Story

Itajime is a technique of Shibori resist dyeing, using wood clamped around sections of folded fabric to resist the dye in particular shapes. This collection has been created by two of India’s respected Master Artisans in Bhuj, Gujarat.
